The Christmas Market trip also coincides with the Cross Country Sprint event which is held down the side of the river. http://www.worldcup-duesseldorf.de/en.html (not updated for this year yet)

I have thought about going to that for a few years, but finally managed to talk some friends into going mainly for the markets, and a good beer feuled weekend :)

Far Queue, that looks good fun and with a few beer's onboard even better! :D We used to go to Christmas Markets up until about 4 years ago when we went skiing in December instead. As we are going skiing in January we might have a long weekend away in December. Not been to Duesseldorf as yet but it looks fun. :wink:
