Budget skiing Asia

Hi everybody,

I'm looking at going on a week long skiing trip in feb/mar 2010 somewhere in Asia. I'm thinking of either South Korea or Japan. I'm an intermediate snowboarder, and haven't been to either of them. Basically, as I work for an airline, cost to the destinations itself doesn't matter that much for me. What I am more concerned about is which place offers the best value in terms of accommodation, ski passes and if possible a decent apres-ski?

Any recommendations?
