Ski Season Spain - advice

Hi
I did a ski season in Canada last year and now I'm looking at doing another in Spain or France - has anyone done a season in either of these places- can anyone recommend a good place to go? I'm an intermediate snowboarder, and I'll need to find work, so somewhere with intermediate runs with bars/restaurants etc would be great. I can speak a little spanish, but no french
