yep...it felt like Antarctica in Lincolnshire during winter 2010. I drove the kids to school one day (no buses for about 2 weeks) and the car thermometer read minus 14.5 degrees.

No street lighting in our village. I think we get a £30 council tax discount! If you want to walk anywhere a torch is a must.

Seriously though, it's a great forum with a good mix of useful info and good natured japery (is that a word?)

I've joined and contributed to 3 or 4 forums in the past decade. None as good as this (so far....)
