I second Dobby's thread idea.

Can't believe it's been over 2 years since a wibble comment!

Spent part of yesterday in the roof of a cathedral - lots of spider webs and dust but at least I was out of the rain. (by the way, I was supposed to be there. I hadn't gained illegal entry!).

Nothing else to report.

Don't think we have one!

Welcome to the forum!! You will soon be asked whether you think Austria or France is the best place to ski. :D
It's a pretty competitive marketplace and I am only referring to the Geneva to Val d'Isere route. We've used Cool Bus three times previously (for private mini bus transfers). Haven't tested any other routes.

I'm sure Ski Lifts provide an exemplary service but they do need to sharpen their pencils a bit to get Family BB's hard earned £s (or euros)
Have considered them previously but.............they are 30% more expensive than Cool Bus. Ouch!

Of course, neither Cool Bus or Ski Lifts win the best company name prize. That has to go to,

Skiidy Gonzales.

Always make me smile when we walk into Geneva arrivals

Not everywhere in the Alps! We had an excellent time on skis in Espace Killy last Christmas.

The current forecasts for Soldeu are showing rain for the next few days up to around 2500m and then the freezing level drops thereafter. However still a bit earlier to have a proper feel for the Christmas week.

Thanks for the feedback. Perhaps we'll tentatively try Ellis Brigham and see how things pan out. Still got 4 weeks before we are off on holiday.

Overall, when the sun is shining, and the skis are on then the World is a happy place....and then beer with live music after? Perfect, regardless of country!!!!

Post of the day for me!

It's made me trawl back through my photos from last year. Pic below taken on Christmas day sat eating lunch at nearly 3000m in glorious sunshine. Bliss!!....
