The short sections of piste back down into Arc 1950 are a bit tricky. Lots of traffic and slippery bumpy slopes. Arc 2000 is easier for beginners and then you can hop then onto the short cabin down to 1950.

I too am off.

Thanks to snapzzz for creating a topic that's ruined an evening's work for me.

There is a bottle of Sauvignon blanc in the fridge though. Perhaps I should drink it in case it goes out of date.

Salut!

Dave Mac wrote:Damn, I feel so inadequate. My Honda ride on is 10HP or 16Hp depending on which page you read, but only 101cm cut. Still I have an acre. And it does look out onto a hill that I can ski on....

Biggest PITA is the grass. What do you do with 5/10 cu m of grass each week?

Mulch, mulch, mulch. Get a machine that mulches.

Wave goodbye to piles of smelly grass for ever!

The blues coming down to Vallandry are generally through trees. The runs are narrow in places but also quite gentle.

There are some really wide blue pistes above Arc 1800. Plenty of space to work on the technique.

Aiguille Rouge is fun from 3,226m if you fancy a black run!

I compost!

I notice bedrock you have not commented on your size?

44". I was trying to be discrete.

I like to blast round the garden at warp speed.

OK - you win bedrock.

But ....

I have just over two acres

It's a score draw. One acre here.

OK - is this the whose got the biggest mower thread now?

Countax 38" cut, 15hp motor, hydrostatic gears, powered grass collector !!

ahem....20hp. No grass collecting though. We like to mulch.

This wibble thread is not assisting my effort to do some work this evening. Efficiency now down to 50%.

Work, sat night!!!!!!! somethings wrong

I made the mistake of resigning from my PAYE job 7 years ago and setting up a business. Buck stops here.

It does mean I earn more than I used to which helps fund skiing holidays and the purchasing of ride on mowers.
Anyone organising a group?

AllyG wrote:Snapzzz and Bedrock Barney - do you think the questions look OK? It's only meant to be a prototype survey so that everyone can look at it and come up with suggestions as to how to improve it.

It will be interesting to see how much feedback we get about the survey because it will be some measure of how many people (out of those currently reading the website) would like to go on a J2Ski group holiday.

I didn't spend too much time analysing the questions (I'm supposed to be working!). The resort list might be a tricky area. You could easily have 50 names rather than 10.
