Hi, We are considering going to Flaine late January. Just wondered if anyone has stayed at the Club Hotel Le Flaine (not the Le Totem though info on either greatly appreciated). Also, our party will consist of 4 adults and while I realise it's a great family resort, is anyone aware of any decent bars for adults? We're not looking for a party resort but would like a few decent bars to go in the evening. Any advice please? Cheers!

Thanks guys. I understand you can pay an upgrade in resort to ski Zermatt for the day but I suppose if its that good there, we'll want to ski there more than one day.

Can anyone give advice on whether to buy a local (£179) or area (£231) lift pass? We are intermediate/advanced skiers but wondered whether paying the extra to ski Zermatt is really worth it? Thinking of staying in the Petit Palais Hotel - anyone stayed there and if so, do you recommend it?

Can anyone help? There was a problem with my subscription to the Daily Mail Ski & Snowboard mag and as a result, I didn't get the November issue (I will get an extra issue next winter). I've tried WHSmith, all the leading supermarkets and the internet and just can't get hold of the November issue. Has anyone got one I can have? I dont' mind paying for it obviously. If not, perhaps someone could pick me a copy up from the ski show? I know Borders used to sell it but they've gone bust. Alternatively, if anyone could point me in the right direction? Cheers!

Hi All, we've booked a week's skiing in Sestriere at the Hotel Du Col in January. Just wondered if anyone has stayed there and if so what did you think of the hotel? I've read somewhere that they have ski hire in the hotel? However, I don't really want to wait til we get there to find that they're selection isn't very good. Anyone have any discount codes to pre-book online? Cheers

Hi, we are considering booking a holiday to Sestriere but I've heard it can be a bit pricey. Last year we went to Claviere and were paying about 6 euros for a G&T. Is Sestriere more expensive? Anyone recommend it? Cheers
