Thanks - I've heard similar stories about queueing for the lift in the morning - do you know what time they open? We are usually up and waiting at lifts at opening time when we ski to miss the morning rush so hopefully we can do that again in Alpe D'Huez.
Sorry you missed your lessons, that must have been very frustrating! |

Hi All,
Just back from Serre Chevalier, and heading to Alpe D'Huez for the week prior to easter weekend. Just wanted to hear people's experiences of the resort, good runs to do, fun areas to ski, restaurants/bars etc. We're all competent skiers and looking forward to one last week of snow before the season ends!! Cheers :D |

I got back from Serre Chevalier 2 weekend's ago and had a fantastic time - fresh snow on the Monday made for a perfect week's skiing. I will definitely be going back to this resort next year, runs to suit every level of skier, and some great half-pipes and off piste-ing for that added fun factor! LOVE IT!
We stayed at Hotel Cimotel with Nielson - ski in/ski out, perfect! Food was excellent, location great, not expensive. Rooms could do wtih a bit of revamping, but with how little time is spent in the room, not really an issue! :D |
