It's a weak spot, if it's not bad, it's possible to get a filling kit from a car accessory shop. It will be no fun at all sitting on a French Autoroute waiting for recovery instead of arriving in resort. Fix it, it will be 1 less thing to think about )

I'd have suggested Scott Punishers, but as you want some park use, they will be heavy. It depends on your strength, and how much park you want to do. I've owned some Punishers and they are pretty versatile, turn tight and loads of float. You will definitely need to go longer though. I'm 164 and I used 172's for a couple of winters. You lose length at the tips and tails.

The Liberty Jinks is a womens Freeride ski. Are you a woman? If not don't buy them.
From your list the El Rey will be the best of the bunch IMHO. For 70% piste work, I would suggest that 80-85mm underfoot with tip rocker and a broad shovel will be most versatile. You can afford to go slightly longer with a Twin Tip. |

This is why the N212 route should be avoided at least for a while! Photo of 20 tonne rock with car underneath...

There is definitely 1 resident snowboarder there, he's a member here and I know him. He was probably off piste somewhere. It's a big resort! |

The shortest and most pretty route is via the Gorge d'Arly. Recent rockfall means this route should be avoided for the time being, a large rock squashed a car flat

Having jumped the "lock" hurdle, policyholders are then presented with a % reduction for each year a ski is owned, if they should dare to make a claim. A decent cable lock will deter the drunk/dork which are the source of most incidents. I use one like this, which fits in a pocket. http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/safeman-compact-pocket-cable-lock-prod4738/ |
