Been wearing a helmet to ski for 7 years. Took me about an hour to forget I was wearing it on day 1.

Makes 1 post on here, and also on Snowheads advertising his new site. Are there any links back to J2ski? It would seem to be the polite thing to do.

I do hope that we don't suffer the Ski Sunday treatment and end up watching the World Crochet Champs :D |

Can't agree with this, as it depends on the ski's radius and characteristics. My ski collection has altered now, but at 1 time, my shortest skis at 158 had the biggest turn radius at 17.8m. My longest skis, which were my Punishers at 172, turned like carvers, well 15m. I woud say that you need to ski a longer ski a little differently, but that's all part of developing skills. I'm with you on the Canoe analogy, as I tried some Watea's at 176 IIRC...definitely a wooden canoe  I'm 164 and 67kg currently. |

I do recall getting frostbite in my new C&A ski gloves whilst in Bormio. I was in ski school and was removed from the class and told to go buy something more appropriate.
It was only minor 'nip and the feeling came back into my fingers after a couple of days. I took the gloves back and got a full refund on returning to the UK. |
