cheers petal...........look forward to watching that.
Shame he wasn't cute though :D

There were a whole bunch of people arrived same day as us who got no skis and no luggage until the Monday night! Have to say the Crystal reps did a great job of finding gear for them to wear and they hired equipment etc, but it was a rubbish start to their holiday.

This might be a stupid question and not really relevant to your post, so hope you don't mind me asking. Do snowboards come in different widths according to the size of your feet. It's not something I've really given much thought, but I'm thinking with a size 13 and a regular snowboard, your toes would be on the ground. :?: This is probably another dumb blonde question, but my Mum always said if you don't ask........you don't find out :D

Glad you had a great time in Les Arcs...it sounds as if another skier/boarder has fallen under its spell,a few have even been once and never even bothered going home :Dlucky so and so's.

I am jealous, due to work i will not be going out until the last week of the season....but the excellent conditions should last.

Did you manage to try any of the restaurants in the area and down in Bourg by any chance?

Jon.

Hi Jon
We did get to Bourg, but that was only because we got stuck in Vallandry and had to get down the mountain by taxi to then hitch a ride up to Arc 2000. The only restaurant we ate an evening meal in was the Red Rock in 2000 and I have to say it was excellent and pretty good value. It snowed constantly for the last 3 days we were there, so there was oodles and oodles of the white stuff. I might see if I can manage another week at the end of the season...........I would love to go back. Thanks again for all your info before we went.

Yes I think we need to take over a whole resort for all of us, where do you think then folks?

no-one need be left out...........it's an open list policy.........and TonyH cooks for everyone! (pants I believe are a delicacy in some ski resorts)
