I agree Dids it would be perfect, I am just looking at the moment & very likely will buy in the resort & not online. Good point about conditions Ranchero before buying, it will help decision making when the others see the piste maps & where the lessons take place. |

We are going for Christmas 21-28 Dec & some will need lessons which aren't booked yet.It seems there are 3 types of area pass & for the family one will allow 2 children free passes on all these options, I will wait till they are back from holiday to get their ideas. I was hoping that Les Houches would be on the middle pass, but it seems it isn't & only on unlimited or Les Houches itself. |

Thanks for all your comments, I have contacted chamexpress & they will do it €55 return per person or €50 if through the chalet. Hoolio, we are 6 in number how does chamvan compare with the above prices. Thanks again. |

Thanks again for your answers, there is a section that says " family 2 adults + 1 child €803.70 " on the lower priced pass.I thought this a bit strange as if you add 2 adults & 1 child it would total this amount so in effect all they did was the maths. Perhaps its as you say the other children don't pay, but I didn't notice that being stated anywhere, with that in mind another check will be required. |

Thanks insiders, the unlimited is €282 adult & €239.70 for children & seniors. The other one is €230 for adults & €195.50 for children & seniors, Is it worth the extra? especially for the beginner children who will be in lessons as well as the intermediates? The cost for them would be €1283.10 for the unlimited  The other would be €1046.50 :( a saving of €191.60. |

I have just looked at the lift pass prices for Chamonix :( & there are 2, one is whole area & the other which I think would be most suitable for my family. We have 2 young boys 9 & 13 as beginners 1 at 15 & my daughter as intermediates, myself & her husband as advanced.I know nothing of the areas & 4 of them will be going to ski school for part of the day, so those of you that know the Chamonix area could you please give me some advice.
Thanks in advance. |
