When I first joined, a few years ago, several people had me mixed up with this guy ;)

I had a look at Google Maps and they now include the ski lifts on the maps :)

So it's easy to see where the Gran Baita hotel is in relation to the Folgarida gondola. On the Google Map below the hotel is marked with an 'A' and it's about 400 metres from the gondola (and ski hire shop), so it would be possible to walk there, although there's no need as the hotel runs a free shuttle bus to the gondola in the morning, and back in the afternoon.
