Well done snapzzz. Good to see you are acquiring more gadgets.

I've gone all retro and in the last three days, I've bought....

1. An early 1980's pinball machine
2. A genuine American 'Walk Don't Walk' sign
3. An 8 track player and 20 cheesy 1970's tapes

The 1st two work well but I have my doubts about the third. I'm awaiting it's delivery and will probably have to get my spanner out.

I can think of plenty more resorts that over grade runs to suggest their resort is more challenging that it really is.
It's a lot of years since I was last in Sestriere, but from what I can remember the rating was pretty fair.
I'm not sure which the Olympic run is in Sestriere, so can't compare. I remember the World Cup run, that's not as challenging as the Face.


We saw lots of skiers on the Verte run who were clearly not happy with the green rating. Complete bun fight at the end of the day.
