I as a builder have always been ok in the fitness dept due to physical hard graft, having said that I do use a stepper for 2 months before I go skiing. At the age I am now I do have to stop for a breather a few times when going down a slope & rest the legs for a minute or two, to my mind skiing is recreational & not out to be the fastest or long distance runner, that's for others with their mindset. 8)

I can see why they held him responsible, however there has to be an element of personal responsibility here surely? She was experienced enough to know she was acting irresponsibly.

Do helmets stop avalanches happening, helmets give protection for head impact, an avalanche causes whole body compression & you would normally die of suffocation in what would feel like a concrete tomb so no help in an avalanche situation.You asked for it & now you've got it.Oh & a bobble useless as well :shock:

Sorry i did forget to add that the Accommodation now is a decent upgrade. We were in the older maeva apartments but now have been placed in the New Eden Arc resort which whilst out of town a little i am pleased with.

IMO you booked a holiday in good faith, paid deposit & then got bumped causing a lot of anguish & no doubt time consuming discussions on how to get another holiday sorted.

Eventually they find something suitable & you are indebted to them for doing what should have been done without question & no compensation offered, not my idea of a company I would be doing future business with.

I am pleased for you & your family with getting your trip back on track but feel sorry for any situation causing you to rely on Crystal in the future, IMO they could have done more for the pain they put you & your family through.

You can massage them yourself dancing on tables in apres ski bar :)
