I think it does look a bit like that, only with white and green on it somewhere. I'm not very good with flags. When we were in Geneva I asked my 16 year old daughter why they had the red cross flag up everywhere, and she laughed herself sick and she's been very busy ever since telling everyone how stupid her mother is. You did indeed say Wales is a principality. As I said in one of the other threads, my eyesight isn't so good these days, because of my age, and you did type it pretty small (I can't see why you should be afraid of me, I'm not a nasty sort of person). Why don't you put a recent ski video up, just to play fair, so I can see how young you really are when you're ski-ing? I always feel like a teenager again, until I hit the ground. In fact, I think it would be really interesting to see everyone ski-ing on video. I sort of guess how people ski, from the way they type, and I may be totally wrong. Ally |

Wales is a nation just as much as Scotland. We have our own parliament too. Although to be quite accurate, I believe Wales is a principality. Ian - very funny, ha ha - I know how to pull on a rope and get a flag up, I used to sail once. I just wondered if the flag appeared because Scotland was in the title of the thread, and whether the same would happen if I started a thread with Wales in it. Tino- we do have ski slopes in Wales, they're unfortunately just dry slopes though! And before I forget to mention it, I am actually 1/4 Scottish, because my grandmother came from Glasgow, and I'm not Welsh at all, I just live here. Ally |
