If you want to go skiing in Poland go to Szczyrk.
It is a small mountain village about an hours drive from Krakow. The village is a superb place to stay (I went there with my polish friends 4 years ago). The snow depth in the village was about 1m and if you got up early in the morning you couldnt walk outside. Price was unbelievably good. I didnt ski but it was very good. It will be full of locals but it was very friendly and a great place. Much better than Zakopane which is 10 times more expensive. |

2 years ago I went to skiing and had no gear.
I bought a jacket for £30 from Blacks and it was superbly warm and did the job perfectly. You can buy good quality gear very cheap if you are prepared to look around. |

I know that I am just really annoyed. I was in Munich and learnt we were 2-1 up and then got back at 11pm to hear that.
Then here Rafa try and defend the dive. Effing ridiculous. Anyway rant over. |

Eggnog is an abosolute disgrace......... However, I did hear that 2012 Olympic Committee were at Anfield and rated it as a 9.6. |

I must agree that in Les Arcs last year I did the supermarket beer with dinner in the chalet.
I am not a wine drinker so I have to cater for myself in the alcohol department. I dont have an issue with paying 8euros for a beer (although it is expensive I agree) as long as it is a decent pint. I had a couple of beers in Les Arcs last year which were taken back and told to change as they we flat and rank. Anyway, we will see what will be in ADH... just wish it was next week not in two months. |
