Old Andy, I appreciate the thought thanks, naturally my interest is from a Sociological perspective :D |

Gosh, I feel left out. I've missed a whole thread devoted to old fart commentary :D

:P I didn't start it, and yes Conrad's sale is up to the usual standard 8) Unless you are picky like Wickers..... |

A tighter turning ski when compared to my favourite non rockered narrower Movements. Skied at just over head height, they also carve nicely, and handle powder well too, just ask Chamfreerider :D I guess that where I spend most of my time, local style rubs off because folks just go skiing, there is a "run what you brung" mindset. Having had skier alignment and fore/aft balancing done, I'm not feeling any great benefit from Rocker additions I've tried. I can ski what I want with what I use. |

Yes, fashion and all. Right now I do have a pair of skis with rocker, but my best performing skis don't have it. :D |

Swingbeep, got spot on the Delta angle on that binding  That is just nuts!
I was going to suggest to Tony, that based on his love of the Neo's he would enjoy the Jam's in 171, and he should test them 1st :D Personally I'm not a fan of Marker bindings so would be wary of packages at any price. There are no such things as cheap boots, just the ones that fit. Anything else leads to misery ) |

Custom, moulded footbeds need to be made correctly to function properly. It's a little more complex than standing in a moulding while the footbed cools under your foot.

Seen a few ski teachers with a pair of Crocs in their packs. Great if you have a yomp to the lift, saves the boot soles. Wickers, we did this not so long ago, have you forgotten ) |
