Not watched it yet, but the info says that August is the only month that it doesn't snow in Yellowstone!

I may be wrong, but think that may be part of the problem. He likes to be good at everything he does and the fact that I have skied for years (Not that I'm that good), but you know what I mean. The male ego/pride thing :(

Pablo. He was really doing so well, but after going through the picket fence at Glencoe, he took the skis off and never put them on again. That was about 7 years ago. I have just given up thinking he will ever try again.

First trip to austria was a nightmare but strangely liked it..
second trip to whistler.. GOT LESSONS..
things got better..
last trip to andorra lessons again and can actually do it..
love it ..hooked .. never thought I would be a skier

That's fab. Wish my OH would give it another go. He took some lessons on a dry slope and was doing really well then we had a day at Glencoe. He fell over many times and then said he had no desire to ever do that again...............shame :(

For me it was when my kids got lessons on a dry slope and I thought I'd give it a go. That was when they were 7 + 8 years old and now they are 24 and 25. Wish I could say I've managed to ski every season since then. But like caron, I was hooked and still am. Wish I'd learnt at a young age though. :D

No-one around today to spoil me. My daughters gone skiing - so won't be seeing her. My son came over yesterday though and did some stuff around the house I had really needed done. My OH is at work. So it's me and the dogs. My own Mum died on Mothers Day last year when I was in Colorado :(
