Time off booked for 9/2/13 and looking at La Clusaz but i suspect it maybe a 'take what i can get' late deal.

Seriously considering the Crystal Ski Fest in March.

Looking at 3 trips & on another thread saying money down all doom & gloom, many on here had their hankies out weeping buckets for your predicament & I started a whip round for you, so what happened ?

Do you want to ski in powder without learning the skills? Plenty of folks do, just buy a fat (ish) pair and ski the same as you do on piste. The skillset is the same, most of the learning is about fore and aft balance, and coping with external pressure.

Suggest skis like:

Atomic Access
Volkl Mantra
K2 Hardside

All of which have decent capability on groomed and in soft stuff.

Thanks for the info Bandit I shall be looking in the hire shop for these skis as you`re recommendations for skis in Engleberg were spot on.

Sorry did get it but for last years resorts, updated now

Its the first quiz I have ever done where I knew all the correct answers 8) which makes me the obvious winner, unfortunatley they are doing a draw for the prize so you all have the same chance of winning as me :(

Really? Well, what were the correct answers on that sustainable tourism section?

Ally it would be unfair to the others if I told you, you must appreciate that
