Any suggestions please :?:

Yes... I took a look and the "Disable BB Code in this message" box was ticked - which prevents the software translating the quote tags (which are BB code, not HTML). I un-ticked that box et voila, mange tout mange tout, etc. 8)

However... there does appear to be a bug here too - occasionally the BB code appears anyway, but seems to be curable simply by editing and re-saving the message. We'll have a look into that when we've caught up on some sleep...

Admin wrote:But in the meantime, you can at least now use an RSS reader on your phone to keep up with the various threads - as of the new update there are now properly populated feeds for all the Forums and Topics.

Alternatively, you can configure your e-mail notifications to include the Topic / Reply text - and read those on your mobile too.

See the Ski Forum Notifications sticky for how to set that up.

Unless you suffer from vertigo, or you're a beginner - in which case you'll be terrified... :D

However, what bandit said - Grand Montets (above Argentiere - a short bus ride or drive up the valley from Chamonix town) should still be superb in April.

Keep an eye on the snow reports from Chamonix in the meantime.

You've got a choice of about x hundred ski resorts near Geneva...

How good is your snowboarding, and are you confident on chairs, drags, etc?

Pretty much everywhere has good snow cover at the moment so it all depends what you want.

Extra Ski Hire Discounts for March

We're delighted to tell you that our Ski Hire prices for March (start dates from the 7th through the 28th) have been reduced by an additional 10 percent, to make the minimum discount a very handy 30 percent off the walk-in price.

Go directly to our partner SkiSet for a quote.

What with some serious deals on accommodation starting to pop up, and oodles of snow all over everywhere (almost), it's looking like next month could be giving up some of the best value skiing for quite a while... 8)

That looks complete pants. Can't imagine why you bothered going really... shoulda come to Kent... we had nearly a cm last month...

P.S. Looks like we have a wee bug in the reply / video embeds going on - if you have a problem with odd code showing up after you use the youtube tag, then make sure your "Disable HTML in this message" option is NOT checked and just save the Reply again.

Actually, if you could try another video and let me know if that happens to you (and you can fix it by clearing that option), that'd be handy.

If it's green (or flashing green) then you haven't read it yet... there you go. 8)

It is now in the plan for a "user configurable" number of posts per page, together with a selectable skin to suit mobile browsing... but that'll be happening when the snow melts and the lifts have shut...
