Got to agree with the old fella :-)

Definitely best for you as you change your mind often & booking with a TO would cramp your style

Just one more point, I totally agree it should be up to the individual to accept Allys invitation to be included on the list & not be placed there without permission. It seems to me in the current case Stewart is upset by having his details placed on the site without his consent & Smartski suggests its a good point because its to much info for others to see.

The downside of Stewart's response & Smartskis analysis is that Stewart had already posted his number of sleeps & destination earlier in the thread so it was already out there, just not on the list.

Lastly fair play to Ally for asking & receiving consent before adding anyone to the list.

Genuinely, I picked one person from the list and within 3 clicks I could find their home address, complete with a streetview picture (I can describe their car, their house and the plants in the front garden)....and of course I know when they will be away.

In case you didn't know, every time someone comments on this thread there is a live feed to 'twitter' saying "sleeps till ski time" with a direct link to this thread for all public to see.

And therefore if you have information within your 'profile', or possibly just through a 'username', anyone can find out who you are and when you will be away.

Sorry to be the boring one, I'm just saying 'be careful' what you publish!

Didn't know people put that amount of info in their profile, also if you are going on a trip it will not automatically mean your home is empty. You could also assume if someone has a job their home will be empty in working hours.

Happy Birthday wickers, just to let you know this will be my first for a pass discount & good to know your nearly there too

Toilet stops when the coach driver has locked the on board one to save cleaning it later & you find you 2hr transfer is now 3.5 hrs due to diversions. Top Tip don't join in the beer drinking till you know that the loo on board is usable

Nope, we have a much better game for the jacuzzi, and the chalet owner has promised us a cut for all the electricity we are going to save him

FQ it sounds like we have some greenhorns on the trip, to all those in that category maturity beckons with a resounding bump
