We nearly always use Intersport (in various different resorts) and so far they've been very good. A 50% discount is an amazing deal! We've never had more than a 40% discount. We pay a deposit when we book (something like 10%) and the rest when we're in the shop hiring the stuff.

We pay a bit extra now for the better quality stuff, but it's probably not worth it for beginners.

The odd thing about it is that Tony's very good at giving other people titles - like I'm the Wibble Queen, Bandit's the Sheriff and Dave Mac is the Mayor of Niederau.

But it's very difficult to think of a title for him. Seeing that he's so good at it, maybe he should create his own title?

I wouldn't worry about not understanding what's going on. The whole point of wibble is that it's a load of nonsensical amusing stuff mostly irrelevant to ski-ing :D
