Buy PX bindings and enjoy being able to pull the heelpiece up into position, thus avoiding any faffing around with "platforms". :D
Hold your ski poles and make a + in the snow which you use to lever yourself upright with one hand. Spreads your weight, and you sink less. |

Skis: Don't buy if you are a beginner or a novice skier.
Once you are through this stage, go test, then test some better quality skis. If you can feel the difference it's time to buy. Boots: Go to a fitter, replacement feet are in short supply. However, losing Toenails is easy. |

Broom, get in touch with Charlotte Swift in L2A. Her website is:
http://www.easiski.com/ She has a good reputation for building confidence, and only takes small groups or 1:1. She's been a ski teacher all her working life. She's not paying me to write this either :D |

Done this 2x, and it's well worth the effort. You need an early breakfast and easy access to the KM lifts, so choose your Hotel accordingly.
Suggest going early in the Test Season, I found Testing in November to be like opening day at the Sales  |
