How Much did they charge you? and were they your own boots or did they sell them to you?

And are these guys specialist boot fitters or are they just a ski shop like snow and rock?

Hi All

Did anyone fly to Turin return form the UK last December?

I am just checking Prices I think Easyjet are the Cheapest but I wanted to know how much they charged last year and when they released their flights.

Thanks Ise,

Yes but you can also, (or a least this is what I have found), get thigh burn from Fast down hill skiing without stopping. That is how I typically ski and I am leaning forward in my boots as I obviously need the control and transmission to my skis.

Two great indicators that you are leaning back in your skis
1) you bruise the backs of your Calves on your ski boots
2) you fall over every time you gather a bit of speed

Agreed, I love the Gym work. Squats in the GYM with big weights best excercise you can do....if done properly but expect much pain for the following 2 or 3 days if you are doing enough weight. If it doesn't hurt you have wasted the session lol
Rather than thick socks I would o and buy some Ski socks from a ski shop. They will cost you about £15 but are worth the money.

Hi Chris

The things that you need for a ski holiday are the following
salopettes
Jacket
Gloves
Goggles

Everything else you can hire and if it is your first time going I'd advise that you do.

Make sure that your jacket, salopettes and gloves are waterproof.

Brands are personal preference, there are a lot of good makes out there cheap as they are expensive. YOu can also hire ski wear for holidays from the UK. Not my bag personally but I know many people who have done so.

Hope this helps

Cheers
