Glad it's not just me then :) . I was warned before we went. I think they try to cram too much information into too small a space. |

I know what you mean. With six days in which to ski, you want to make every one count. Funnily enough, I went to Kitzbuhel, which is at a similar altitude, in 2000 and 2001. I lost a day's skiing the first year and half a day's skiing the next; both through too much snow. It's the only place where this has ever happened. Before booking this deal I did quite a bit of research. I used the 'snow history' tool on the igluski site and used December's figures to err on the side of caution. That's how I arrived at the worst case scenario of downloading in the gondola. The weather was good on the whole; just a couple of days where the visibility could have been better, and the snow was excellent. We'll definitely be returning as a family and I would grab a late deal to Soll with the lads without hesitation. It's back to reality for me now. I'll be skiing vicariously through you guys and your reports. Looking good for Monte Rosa -) . |

Skied the Movement Buzz in Tignes and loved them. They took my off-piste abilities up a notch or two. I also couldn't believe how responsive they were on piste for 99mm underfoot. What's more, they were 185cm long and went between the trees just as easy as my 170cm AMC76's! I'm seriously considering buying a pair but I'm tempted to 'go the whole hog' and get the 110mm Trusts.

wow, that's serious brass monkeys. Skied in -12* at AdH. Also remember waiting for the coach in Livigno that was taking us 'peasants' to St. Moritz for the day. Clock/thermometer outside the bank opposite was showing -28*. Thought it was broken till we got on the coach and the one above the driver's head was also showing -28*.

Not sure if this will work but here's the link to my Ted Ligety impression ;-j on the Sudhang. I think the skiline lot are a bit precious about about posting links. they keep changing the http: code. the one above is the latest one. Works for me (at the moment). |
