There are last minute bargains coming up now for that date.
e.g. Igluski has Sunday 18th March Manchester to Geneva, catered chalet in Tignes Le Lac 50m from piste reduced to £513 pp from £878 pp for 4 people holiday id 32881026.

I think, if it was me, I'd phone around the other travel agents like Smartski etc. have suggested, and see what they have available for your budget and number of people going from Manchester, book it if you find something suitable and then get your refund.

You may well find something much better than you had originally for the same price, or less, if you're prepared to be flexible and go to a different resort or go on Sunday or whatever.

And if you told us what you were looking for - like beginners slopes/nightlife etc. and the budget and how many people I'm sure we'd all have a look and come up with some suggestions for you :D

Best of luck with getting it sorted.

Toboggan run in Courchevel

I've had a look at a couple of sites trying to find out what time the toboggan run closes, and about three of them said at 7-30 pm. If you want to be sure I suppose you could e-mail/phone the Courchevel tourist board.

They call it a luge run, if you want to search for it yourself. I also found this on U-Tube, which is supposed to be the Courchevel run, only of course I don't know if it really is and it's a bit annoying because the video is tilted on its side:

Biki17,
That toboggan run does go on for a long time during the evening because it's close to the apartment we had in Courchevel 1550 last year, and I could hear them laughing and screaming and see the lights. And the gondola to get you back up to 1850 keeps going until late as well.

But I don't know how much it costs because I never had a go at it myself.

According to this thread there seem to be at least 13 of you all going at the same time:

TowerBridge Andy
Ian W
Tony H
Daved
Nelly
Brooksy
Jastem

Edit
Ellistine
OldAndy
Stewart
Lota
Smartski
Coops2

Anyone else I've missed out?

And Iceman seems to have gone fishing, or something

I hope you all have a good time, especially Tony and Ian (and Lota) who will be coping with their injuries :D :D :D

And remember - if you're not on my list you DON'T GET TO GO on your holiday

Hi Smartski - I'm sorry. I was genuinely confused about whether you were ski-ing or not. Sorry

But I am very pleased (and jealous) to know that you ARE going. You lucky so and so ...

I will add you to the list at once :D

Edit
And you too Coops2 :D

Just remember - if you're not on my list you don't get to go on your ski holiday

Well I am glad you are still typing to me OldAndy, I was a bit worried you were still cross with me for telling you off about wibbling too much on my thread about things we've gained from J2Ski. I did apologize on the thread, but I wasn't sure you'd seen it.

Anyway - have a good time everyone and take care :D
