If you can get to Geneva by air, there are plenty of opportunities for going unpackaged, in early season. |

The trains still run, and there are always lots of people looking at their luggage and the Bus timetable, and wondering what to do for the 2 hours until the next Bus arrives! The hole in the timetable disappeared for a while last winter :D |

Why? It's a very popular Swiss resort. |

Naturally, I'm heartbroken by your decision :P |

Thanks Swingbeep  I see a big lunchtime shaped hole in the timetable (again).

Saas-Fee and Zermatt are a good bet because the rail and train connections run into the evening. If the service was delayed, you could still reach your destination. Currently, the last bus out of Sierre for me is 19.10, and SBB are not telling anyone what the new timetable will be!

Our household used MyTyres this summer for a big purchase. No problems with card use or delivery.

Snowbrainer and other online agents, are not ski shops. They will use the same village ski shop as everyone else. I agree that lots of ski shops don't keep up with good practice standards.
For example, I questioned my DIN in a ski shop after a binding mount, and it was seen as a challenge to their "professionalism" (how dare you). After getting the Boss to re enter the figures on their computer, my DIN setting came down from 7 to 5. |
