It's funny . . . you have all these regulations about weight and size of baggage to increase revenue to pay for the fuel it costs to carry the heavier weight, but no such charges for passengers! How long will it be before your ticket price is calculated by your weight?

Andorra is very good for beginners, especially Soldeu and Arinsal. OK, so it's not the prettiest place in the world, but it's cheaper than the Alps, the skiing for beginners is good, and the apres ski is fab, more so in Arinsal than Soldeu.

If you're going 3 times a year, that's around €270 of rentals a year for a top board, depending on where you go, and you're getting a top end board each time.
Buying your own you need to pay for carriage, so €30ish a go, €90 a season. You've got to think if you buy a board how long would you keep it, multiply that by €180 (Rental - carriage), and that's how much you should spend on a board. Hope this helps |
