I don't know which country you're in now, but should you happen to be in the U.K. there's a jobs fair in the next few days - on the 29th September at the Novotel in London specially for people like you, looking for ski related work over the winter:

We now have another J2Skier who is booked to come on holiday to Tignes with us :D
However, he is looking for a male room mate to share with. He says he doesn't mind whether they are a smoker or non-smoker, and he himself counts as a non-smoker because he smokes very rarely. Bonjour and I have allocated him room number 14, which is a triple room on the second floor with a balcony (for which he and any potential room mate will have to pay an extra £20 each on top of the basic £399 for the catered accommodation).
We have now booked 9 rooms but there are still 6 rooms available, which are: Ground floor Room 1 - twin room Room 2 - double room First Floor Room 5 - quad room made up of twin beds and a bunk bed Room 9 - family suite for 4 people in 2 rooms made up of twin beds and a bunk bed. Room 10 - quad room with twin beds and bunk bed and balcony. Second Floor Room 11 - quad room with 2 connected bedrooms and a restricted head room.
If anyone else wants to come with us, ideally Bonjour would prefer to fill rooms 1 (twin) and 2 (double) on the ground floor before accepting only 2 people in their quad rooms. If you would like to join us please either post up on here or send me a pm. |

Thanks Mike :D
Where is NS? Nova Scotia? I'm sorry it's too far for you to join us on one of our group trips  Well, I admit I really enjoy research and often spend hours on it ... so maybe it's the competitive element of quizzes that I don't like? I know I had to take 5 exams recently, and it was the first time for nearly 30 years that I've taken an exam and I found it incredibly stressful. I was really worried I'd end up being the dunce of the class! However, I do feel rather guilty at not taking part, after Pavel went to all the trouble of designing the quizz and marking the results. |

Mike, maybe I am just too lazy to do the work to find the answers
I didn't mind doing Admin's quiz on avalanches because I either knew or guessed all the answers, so no research was required! However, in spite of myself I have learned something as I now know that Hemingway skied (otherwise I don't suppose he'd have written about ski-ing) :D So thanks Pavel for teaching me that much! |

Pavel, I'm sorry I didn't take part in your quiz - it's just that I'm totally useless at that sort of thing, and I didn't know any of the answers

Congratulations Snapzzz - it sounds like you got a real bargain :D
Very Funny Far Queue - I suppose if anyone took the photo it was me - I took it and posted it up here (but it's not my photo, I'm just borrowing it with permission!). |
