Sorry you didn't get the job Snapzzz - maybe it was my fault - I might have temporarily uncrossed my fingers a bit to type :oops:

I wasn't too happy yesterday - we failed to get the £10,000 Lottery grant I was applying for, for our local history group. And all the feedback I got was that there were too many people trying for the money, and we should apply for the next grant. I'd done a lot of work for it , preparing the application.

I hate failing things as well :cry:

Oh well - here's to better luck next time for both of us. I will pretty much have to do the whole blooming thing again!

John - I bought one as well, and I can't find a secret detachable valuables bag either (although it does say there is one, on the label).

Maybe someone has detached it and stolen it? :lol:

The updated list of J2Skiers off ski-ing/boarding during the coming season is on page 184.

If you want to be on this please post a message on here saying where you're going, and when. The Excel sheet will automatically work out how many days until you go.

And I'll re-post the list tomorrow, when we'll all have one day less to wait :P

Are you going to be with a group, or do you fancy meeting up on Sunday 20th, my 8th day of ski-ing? As you know, I will be based in Tignes Les Brevieres, but I can move (albeit rather slowly compared with you, I'm sure!). I think Catp and I will be the only ones ski-ing on the 8th day.

One of the reasons for this list is to make it easier for J2Skiers to meet up, once they can see that they're going to be in the same resort at the same time as someone else.

I've left the list of J2Skiers off ski-ing/boarding this coming season on the previous page for now, because it's getting rather long, and I've updated it this morning.

If anyone else wants to go on the list just post up on here and I'll add you. All I need to know is which ski resort you're going to, and the date. The Excel sheet will work out how many days it is until you go.
