Hi - I went there not long after it opened and was really impressed. To be honest the short run and constant sticking your paper pass into the reader got a bit tiresome, but believe me next to the Snowzone in Milton Keynes where I went at half term just gone it was BRILLIANT...

which probably just means that Snozone was miserable and Chill Factore (marketing geniuses at work in both, judging by the naming) was OK...
Caron-a, Litteloaks and and snowplough, thank you all - it will all go into the Big Book of Possibilities and me and OH will then discuss our views and preferences... and then she will pick the one she thinks is best....
Thanks John Saas Fee has been recommended to us... if you happen to chat to your friend in next few days/weeks wd appreciate any accommodation or travel company tips.

Hi - I'm skiing with my wife (beginner) and two kids, who will be 5 and 7, who have both done two weeks skiing. Okay it's a long list of boxes to tick so here goes: we'd like reasonable snow security, good access to a fair amount of intermediate/beginner terrain, good care for the kids... and it goes on...

ANYWAY, has anyone been somewhere with kids of this age, ideally a hotel, that they would really recommend??

Thanks!
bandit's answer (above) put me straight - I'm sure your goggles over specs will be fine. Have a great time!
Wow - excellent, I never knew you could wear goggles over specs. I had a dodgy eye while skiing a year ago and persevered with my lenses, but if I'd known I would have stuck on my glasses and got some appropriate goggles in the resort... I'll check these out. thanks!

I think you'd have trouble with that - the sides of your specs and the band of the goggles will be an issue. You can get prescription goggles, at a price. Have you ever tried contacts? I wore glasses since I was 6 and in my mid-thirties tried lenses - no going back since.
