Thank you all so much and of course you have confirmed what I was already thinking. I contacted my credit card company last night. As Charlie says "if it looks too good to be true then it probably is". The purchase was a product of fatigue having trawled through many sites trying to find a jacket that my teenage daughter would actually wear. Had I looked at the site properly I would have seen immediatley that it was very dodgy! Lesson learned. I am determined not to let it overshawdow my first proper ski trip. Thank you all again.

Oh dear, looks like you might have been had.
I saw that site a while back, and immediately spotted they were fakes. North Face just dont make any of the jackets on there.
You can see they are not up to their standard from the photos, and when you try to find the serial numbers of the jackets etc, they just dont exist.
Sorry you found out the hard way.

you may well get the jackets tho, did they send you a tracking no ?
the quality wont be half as good as an original. But you may get a usable jacket.I got a spyder jacket from china(stupid i know)but it is waterproof windproof and warm I removed the spyder tags and still wear it on cold days. You get what you pay for.

First question on the faq page is a good indication.

1.Are your the north face jackets & trousers & vests authentic?
Yes,our north fave products are authentic original package.

 Hate to laugh as people are losing money, but Chinese cons are always a fun read.

Anything described on ebay as "greatly magnificent", or as having "superb beauty" does not normally need any further reading.

As I said, I was tired and fed up when looking through the sites so didn't even look at it properly and yes, that was stupid. Thanks again to to those of you who have provided constructive advice and for the person who has found it funny, I am glad that you have been able to gain something from my situation even if it has just been a laugh at my expense!!!

I'm sorry, my remarks weren't intended to be personal. It's like watching those dumbest crooks shows. It is still crime, even though it's funny. I've made a few internet purchasing blunders myself.

When my younger daughter was still quite young (11 I think) I left her in the house with one of her friends and her Dad while I was busy doing something. They decided it would be fun to order some crisps from Tesco and get them delivered, and managed to persuade my husband to give them his debit card.

Anyway, the next day the Tesco delivery man turned up with 90 packets of crisps!

Now, that was funny

I think my daughter had clicked the wrong box or something. She made a profit out of it by selling the surplus crisps at school, so I didn't actually lose out financially. But every time she gets a bit too clever, I remind her of this episode.

Pippak,
I hope you either get your money back, or the stuff turns out not to be so bad. When we were in Bulgaria a lot of the stuff they were selling were fakes, and the cds were illegal copies, but the quality was actually okay.
