I find it quite strange how contributors expect to recieve an answer to their questions when a visit to the doctors and some ski lessons would possible sort out their issue's :lol:

Rob, the fact you can recognise a problem with your skiing technique is a skill in itself & is said to be the sign of a good skier. I would dare say that when you are appraised by a ski instructor the problem will be quickly rectified possibly with the use of video coaching for prosperity.
I can ski reasonably well myself but I cant explain how or why or what happens within the turn or weighting etc.. but to be honest I don't really think that much about it so I probably suffer with technique issues also. :roll:

Thanks to all who have replied. Very informative, and food for thought. Thinking of fitting a quick session in before I go away, just to work on a few things.
The only thing to worry about now is the snow!!!!!! Come on Sauze, start snowing!!!

Unless of course one is a snowboarder, except when you're on a lift, or its flat, or you need to get up hill or ...... So many reasons not to )
