Out of interest Ellejay, did you buy any new skis after my message?

QOTS - all depends on what you want your skis to do for you and what level of skier you are.

Remember skis are only as good as the person who is using them

I did thank you.
I got some K2 One Luv's and I absolutely love them. Perfect for Polly Pocket sized people like me! :D

SIGB tends to have their own test weeks AFAIK, and Fall Line Reviews are for the public.

Fall Line is still a good source of info, and way better than SnR and EB I reckon :D

Thanks for all your replies! I will have to look at all your ideas and think about it. The trouble is I don't want to make a big mistake, as it is expensive. The bit about they are only as good as thge skier is the bit that concerns me. I was hoping they would help me improve!
Nearly, almost, but not quite!

Its a catch 22 thing. Good skis dont make a good skier, but not having good enough skis may hold you back. Last time I got new skis I made a leap forwards, but I also worked on my technique too.
Having both is the best way.
