Snow has been falling across much of New Zealand South Island today, and is expected to continue, bringing significant fresh snow to many NZ ski areas.

Snow is next forecast to fall in New Zealand over the next 2 days, in at least 18 Ski Resorts including Mount Dobson, Mount Ruapehu, Tukino, Turoa and Whakapapa.

Fresh Snow is reported by Coronet Peak and The Remarkables.

 At least 2 Ski Resorts in New Zealand are reported to be open.
