I agree, but I like fesh socks when they have just been washed and fit all snug, if you know what I mean.

I had a boyfriend once who showered and changed socks every day, he still had smelly feet! We did't last long.

I've had Salomon and been disappointed cos they shrunk a lot.

Falke are really good, but my faves are Smartwool.


Aren't they bloomin' pricey though, when you think about it?

about £17 but in the local "blues" shop you can get 3 for £35 i think

The socks I really don't like, are the one that have a great variation in thickness. A little thicker on the shin and heel is ok, but some are extreme, with a very thin tube over the instep. I find it difficult to put boots on with these socks, without creating some ridges,or folds somewhere.
