I have got a hankering to head to scotland this weekend for a bit of spontaneous skiing.
Does anyone know the best places to go and what the snow will be like?
I am thinking cairngorm would be best

Last chance to ski Glenshee this year, it is closing on Sunday.

With all due respect Ian, you are the last person who should be giving advice on skiing in Scotland ;)
Skivisitscotland is rubbish. Use Winterhighland.info and the Scotland thread on Snowheads snow report forum for updates on conditions. They are your best bets.
This is from a recent avalanche at Glenshee :shock:
Depends where is close. I will be skiing at Nevis and/or Glencoe this weekend depending on conditions overhead.

That's a lot of snow Pablo - it looks about 2 metres deep!
