Mrs W is working today so me and Little W have been hard at work preparing the valentine meal .....The Menu is as follows

A welcome glass of fizz with chilli olives and sun dried tomatoes

Then Bruschetti followed by Italian ham and spinach tart with Mange tout and asparagus

We have made enough for a couple more Tony if your about the area

Ian, glad I am not the only one who does the romance thing. Mine has been cup of coffee in bed with card, bag of LUSH smellies and a new limited edition EEYORE (icollect them). A long walk along the beach, hot chocolate and sticky bun in beach cafe. Then home and ordered to pamper myself with all the new smellies, afternoon kip  Now for dinner it will be bottle of fizz, pate and mixed salad, then salmon, new potatoes, asparagus baby carrots, then home made Tirumusu. Lovely day, lovely husband.
I'm a laydee

 Well aren't you just the best......? We're having poached eggs on toast, & I'll be making it when I get back from Running Club!!!

What did it cost me Two cards £3.50, A dozen roses a tenner and a single rose £2 =£15.50.

And now the extras a bottle fizz £15.50 ..... offer in Tesco, ingredients for the meal I'm cooking tonight £23.75=£39.25

Total cost of V day = £ 54.75.

For me:- Two cards £0.00, Roses £0.00, Fizz £0.00, ingredients for meal not being cooked tonight £0.00

Total cost of V day = £0.00 - what a fantastic saving!!!!!
The plan is.... there's no plan!

I've been to do the food shopping today after returning to empty cupboards and fridge. Hubby is cooking dinner now, but he does the cooking and tells me he loves me everyday. Neither of us have sent 'secret' (because that's what it's supposed to be!) valentine cards to anyone. I hope.

Anyway I thought this was a ski chat forum! :hunf:

I see it as a good excuse :D
We've just had a great afternoon (with our boys) at Loch Fyne. Half a lobster for me, fab!

It's a small bit sentimental for us as it's the reason we're together. I sent mr betty an anonymous card 24 years ago and the rest is history
