This years Warren Miller Film - Dynasty - Highly Recommended Viewing.

Hi All
I haven't been on here for a while as I have been informed by control that we are not going skiing this year, which means I am trying not to think about snow too much and we are staying at home because she wants to redecorate the nest.
However we were allowed to splash out and attend the Aberdeen Screening of the latest Warren Miller film "Dynasty".
If like me you were becoming a little jaded with re-hashes of various lunatics careering down precipitous tree-lined slopes while exploding through neck deep powder and thinking this will be just more of the same - don't.
We were both really impressed, Warren seems to have finally retired even from part time commentary and the new producers have made a marvellous job of creating a film which is a real celebration of all things snowsports, a definite must see.

I went to see it in Sheffield last night & really enjoyed it too:D . Sadly, I couldn't persuade anyone to come with me, so went to the cinema on my own for the first time ever :( . Great soundtrack too!

I'm sorry you're not allowed to go ski-ing this year, but at least the film was good.

I am so pleased to hear Warren is not doing the main commentary. He has a voice like a goose farting in the fog. Might take a peak at the film then.
As for Harry - mate, have a word!!!

Thanks Tony, I will get some in even if it is at the Lecht for a day, they can't keep a desperate man down, and as for Warrens voice, if you don't hear it this year - you will be another year older when you do.

I agree about the soundtrack, I think we should start a movement to get Susan Boyle booted off the number one spot in favour of Space Trucking! (c'mon)!
