Just a post for fun, I know some of us dream of a lottery win :) But if you could have a chalet anywhere in the world, where your your dream Chalet be located?

That is certainly a fine Chalet, although rentals is another option, was actually posting about purchasing, mind you it would be some lottery win to buy that one :)

If I won the lottery, I wouldn't just have one...I'd have them dotted all over the place. :D

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure that chalet featured in an episode of Top Gear where the 3 of them raced from London to Verbier? The end of the programme shows Jeremy Clarkson sat outside of a chalet (having won!)

I agree with snowb4ndit, if I won the lottery big time, why restrict myself to having a dream Chalet in a resort and finding yourself stuck in the same place.

I would simply go wherever I fancied and wherever had the best conditions at the time. Get to see all round the world. Japan, Korea, Tibet, Russia, Scandinavia, Canada, USA, South America, Australia, NZ etc. All done in fine style according to the area.

Meribel & Whistler. Wouldn't want anything too big - 4 maybe 5 bedrooms max. Would want to be slopeside with short walk into town.

I would have two chalets in Val D'Isere (for starters), one that I could visit when I wanted to and the other would be a business.

Been thinking about that for some time.
