If your Board Bag is your sole piece of hold luggage you won't pay, AFAIK you only get allowed 1 piece at 23kg. If you can squeeze most of your stuff into that 1 piece remember that with BA you get 2 pieces of hand baggage.
Study the hand baggage sizes on the BA site carefully for best advantage.
Unless you are not in economy )

You can take an additional bag at a cost of £30.00 if pre booked, £35.00 at airport but the weight allowance of 23kg remains the same

Brilliant thanks guys, it is a one peice bag that fits the board + boots and most of my cloting too but wanted to reduce the weight had keep my clothes in a suitecase.
but the 2 x hand luggage bit is interesting, so if thats correct i can take 2 rucksacks as long as they are in within size and weight! Mmm might be able to take a little more then.
Cheers guys good work

I've flown with BA the last 3 years, and pretty much anything goes, well, within reason. They're far more lenient with baggage compared to the budget thieves.
Whether they all turn up for work is a different matter...

Very simple with BA. You get 1 bag each 23kg max. A second bag is £56 return if booked online, this includes skis/boards. Simply prebook and turn up with it.
BA actually also have a website, which strangely outlines the baggage limits. Amazing, eh?
