Hi,
Families with little ones, are you going skiing this coming winter ?
Do you need help with the children? I have 10 yrs experience as a nanny , 8 yrs ski experience , am very sporty and fit, and I Montessori nursery qualified. I also have had 3 children of my own. 2 are now grown up!
I am CRB checked, an intermediate skier, lifeguard ( strong swimmer) and first aid trained.

I don't need a nanny Tropicana, sorry, but I'm interested in how the deal works. Do you get free flights and accommodation in return for the childcare, or are you looking for actual wages?

I think I am quite negotiable really. I am happy to go with free flight and accommodation and help out all morning on a very minimum wage and then ski in the afternoon. Or whatever, maybe proper full days pay if i am required al day etc...

I've seen several "models" of nanny's and skiing over the years. From a non-skiing nanny, who worked all week to shared help with Mum and Dad - taking turns on child care.
An idea worth considering, which I've seen used a few times is that the nanny works full time for a week in exchange for a weeks skiing after the family have gone home.
And on the financials ...
Everything from slave labour to very generous.

Thanks OldAndy. I just love the whole thing with a ski holiday and I love children. To see them enjoying a few days learning to ski is fabulous.

And another idea ...
Friend of my niece got a couple of "free" skiing trips in by contacting big child focussed tour companies and getting work in their kids clubs during main childrens holidays.
may be worth a look?
