Just thought I'd make time to pop in and let you all know how it's going here in Morzine. I can sum it up in one word...Brilliant. I cannot begin to tell you how amazing it is to get up and walk, drive or ski around a mountain to get to work. OMG, I never want to go on a tube train in rush hour again! Our flat is great and it seems luxurious compared to other seasonaires accommodation that we have seen.

I have had winter driving training and am already feeling quite relaxed driving my little left hand drive on icey hills. (We have heard that they will not be salting the roads this year because of the lake)

We have already made quite a few friends including a couple of the local bar owners (We know where our priorities lie) and a local ski shop owner!

Morzine is a fun place to be. It's snowing heavily here at the moment so the mountain is going to be a lot of fun tomorrow...Yippee!!!

We'll be joining you in Morzine for a week from 30th January - hopefulyou'll be able to point us to the best bars ! Of course all good advice will be liberaly rewarded with beer or similar.

Do you think you're the only one with snow ...... its snowed in Norfolk last night !!, and I also know all the bar owners and the supermarket manager, and my house is great compared with some of the other RiffRaff, so whats all the fuss about !!!!!

They like to go fast. I did feel that I had to work harder on them than my bandits, but I'm sure it will get easier, if that makes sense.

Yes, totally. My Neos felt like that first time I skied them, but you'll grow to love the way they handle, and know how to use them quickly!

Not looking likely for a December trip now unfortunately, family issues :(
Hope to get over sometime later in the season maybe, will keep in touch.
