For those who are still just thinking...

A friend sent this to me in order to make me want to go to the mountains even more then I already wanted:

' but here's some inspiration...close your eyes and imagine, the warm cuddly feeling in those skiing outfits, the bright sun bearing down on you, the cold air going in and out of your nostrils, the soft snow letting you glide by effortlessly on the slopes, the happy hour back at the lodge at 6pm, the nice warm dinner gulped down with bottles of wine and the warm glow of the flames in the fireplace before you go to sleep....'

Lucky I have a skiing hol booked this year or I would be in a crumpled heap on the floor crying into my coffee :lol:

I know its sounds a little dreamy, bit of a blur and not much to do with reality but equally I will be happy with just the snow and my skis..and maybe a bit of a sun :)

Oh my god - it is horrendous.
I still don't really believe we won't go!!!

This weather, while everyone around me seems to be moaning really lifts my spirits though. Just need a bit of snow and the skis are coming out!

I don't blame you! Plenty of time left for that to happen :thumbup: And you never know... maybe Father Christmas will make it possible for you to go away this year :wink:
