Snacks 4 Kids while Skiing

I tend to keep the pockets well stocked with goodies for the little ones while on the piste, as it can keep em ticking over
for that bit longer. I tend not to be grumpy dad and insist on the healthy option of a bag of dried appricots as they can do
that at home. Stick as much sugar down them and let them have fun - it's there holiday aswell.

Re:Snacks 4 Kids while Skiing

Any biscuit that's been sat scrunched up in a pocket for more than a couple of hours is pretty yuk!
Where's the energy bar choice?
Or a good hot chocolate, or a mars bar?

Biscuits break and dried apricots are pants!

Mars bars or Snickers without a doubt!

My sons are all grown up now , of slim build and all still have their own teeth and very few fillings! (I thought I'd get that bit in before the health brigade pipe up.)

I recommend the hot chocolate stop with chocolate bar of choice....and the rum ration for Mum and Dad.

Also gives your fingers a chance to warm up.

For breakfast toast and marmite, I'm quite partial for some cheese at lunch or maybe some mountain ham and chips with a glass of red or a beer, then I'm always up for a coffee stop, but no sugary snacks or drinks, then in the evening you can't beat a good tartiflette and a glass of red.

Re:Snacks 4 Kids while Skiing

Mars or Snickers are great but, i've found at
-10c they are pretty tough on the nashers.

Whilst the penguin has a nice clean break.

Biscuits don't tend to break unless you are
having an extreme wipeouts !
Perhaps a Milkway might be more suited to
cold temps.

Let the snack bar debate continue as we wait a huge dump (of snow) across the alps

Cereal bars are ideal. The would enjoy eating them, there slow releasing energy would get them through the day and there easy and light to carry...

perfect!

Kids skiing = chocolate bars, hot dogs, chips, coke, crisps, more chocolate etc... It's there holiday let them enjoy it! Go on pack your pockets with penguin bars & jammy dodgers, you know it makes sense.
