Good Hotels in Val d'isere

Hello,

We're getting ready to book our ski holiday and I just wanted to know if anyone had any Hotel recommendations.

Just looked at Hotel Aigle des Neiges but a bit concerned about the mixed reviews it's had. It's our 1st holiday away this year and I think it'd put a real dampener on Xmas if the Hotel wasn't great.

Trip_adviser_link

Any help greatly appreciated!

Cheers :)

Hotel Le Kern is quite nice and very friendly. Depends on what you want, i usualy go for the apartments in val. They give you also a lift pass for the escape Killy for half price

It's an expensive hotel, in a big village full of other expensive hotels. You are right to be concerned about the reviews. The happy reviews on your link seem to be from folks who managed to get rooms well away from the bar downstairs. Bit of a lottery! You could always book into a smart chalet with a company like YSE as an alternative.
http://www.yseski.co.uk/products/1376-9255/la-grande-sassi-re.php
