Skiing TV shows

Now that summer is becoming a fading memory I'm sure many of you are as keen as me to get back into winter mode.

So, I was wondering whether any of you know of any decent skiing TV shows (a la ski sunday/ high altitude)which I can watch online. I know about salamon freeski tv and that sort of thing but some of those shows are a bit too 'kawabunga' for me. As soon as someone uses the word 'gnarly' it get a bit put off- but each to their own and all that.

Cheers snow people! :)

BTW is it too early to be doing the snow dance?

The only webisodes i know of are Line Traveling Circus and Salomon Freeski TV at the moment, another thing you can do is buy this years films iv heard Light the Wick from TGR is amazing.

Also, If your have SkyHD there is a channel called rush HD, they have documentary type shows that follow professionals traveling and filming for segments which is quite cool.

Just touching on this, Rush HD is amazing. The pic quality is out of this world. The best programme on this channel is Nomads. There is almost always a ski related show on this channel id say daily...

PS....Too early for a snow dance? Ive been doing mine for the last 6 months...

Re:Skiing TV shows

Xtreme sports channel on sky - 419 is the best bet for early season stuff, they do re-runs of winter xgames and dew tours but also do a show called "tracked" (i think) which follows pros about but its from the early 90s so the stuff isnt as gnarly as more recent guys!

Cheers for the pointers. I've got virgin media so have seen some of the shows on Xtreme- I think its 'un'tracked Rossyhead- which is quite enjoyable. They keep putting surfing on it though! What are they thinking?

And glad it's not too early for the snowdance- I have a good feeling about this season!

Re:Skiing TV shows

Some of the lifestyle channels have Skiers World which I think is Canadian - a bit like a version of "Wish you were here" for skiers with technical tips thrown in. They film all over the world.

There's another called "Raiders of the Lost Snow" which follows an aging hippy chasing snow in some far off places. Some of these are on the web too.
