Well done 8) My OH put in a claim for food expenses when he was stranded for 5 days in April. He submitted the receipts and received a refund. It was small beer compared to your claim, because he had somewhere to stay, and decided to work from there and not try to get home :D

Hi,

I think staying pretty clam on the phone and being straight up with how you go about your claims goes a long way also, and it certainly pays to keep all your receipts etc , to EasyJets credit after they had refunded the first GBP177 for the unused flights that was ok , but after isent my reciepts in i said that i would be happy to pay the fuel ,tolls etc if they refunded some of the car money ....and they refunded pretty much all my share of the costs incurred. :D :D

This certainly goes some way to restore my faith in large companies , and considering the huge amount of back logged claims etc , they sorted my claim out quicker than i expected.....not sure if this was because i sent it via recorded delivery rather than using the online claim form....

jon.

Re:God Old EasyJet.......Faith Restored

We had our flight home from Munich cancelled last week. Luckily we managed to get on the flight 24 hours later. We should be entitled to 250 Euros each compensation though.

If anyone can give any advice on how it's best to get a response from Easyjet, email address, mail address, phone number I'd be extremely grateful.

Easyjet email easyjet@maileu.custhelp.com

Had my money back that I was claiming for cancellation due to snow in LGW.

Took 9 emails & 5 months of informing them of breaching their own T&Cs, now trying to get a discount on future flight as gesture of goodwill for causing me so many problems.
