Summer Dry Slope Skiing - clothing

Having become hooked we're carrying on skiing through the summer months at our local dry slope. Anyone come across any 'thin' salopettes good for such conditions? Any other good dry slope kit out there?

Cheers )

Re:Summer Dry Slope Skiing - clothing

We went ski-ing in a snow-dome in June, and it was just as cold as during the winter, and we wore normal ski trousers and jackets without the usual thermals underneath, and were quite comfortable.

I thought they maintain the snow-domes at a more or less constant temperature?

However, if you do feel too hot in ski trousers and jackets in a snow-dome, I should think you could wear breathable waterproofs - as for hiking in the Lake District :D

Outside on the mat type artificial slopes we wear jeans and long sleeve fleeces and thin gloves during the summer.

Ally

domes - can get cold if the queue for the lift builds (eg if maintaining a lift). i go for Salopettes and a thick fleece instead of a jacket (as don't need all the pockets)..kids can get a bit cold
dry slope. track suit bottoms / old jeans. long sleeved T + gardening gloves or old gloves.. don't wear anything decent as it can get destroyed if you take a big tumble.

delighted that you have become hooked this year-just be careful dry slope skiing doesnt put you off!!

try and get to a snow dome as often as geographically/financially possible as it will keep your eye in way better!
